Railroad Cleanup Day
Members of the Litchfield Economic Development Commission, Litchfield Lions Club, Boy Scout Troop 29 of Bantam and the Litchfield Public Works Department helped Naugatuck Railroad members to clean up about a mile of the railroad track in East Litchfield on November 11, 2006. The Naugatuck Railroad is a part of the non-profit Railroad Museum of New England, Inc. This was an effort to help restore the scenic vista for train passengers.
